Holiday Events Near Upper Macungie

There’s a chill in the air, and the city is glowing with lights. Christmas is right around the corner, and it’s time to celebrate! Plan out your next few weeks with fun events that are near you in the Upper Macungie area. The kids will have a blast seeing Santa, and you’ll love seeing their faces beam with joy. Make some special memories this year and get as many holiday pictures are you can as you make your way around town to these different Upper Macungie holiday events.

  1. Santa Runs: Don’t miss seeing Santa Claus with your favorite heroes from around town. The volunteer fire departments visit local communities every year with Santa to pass out goodies to the kids. There’s even a special surprise from Santa in-store too. The Fogelsville Volunteer Fire Company-Station 8, Station 56, and Good Will Fire Company-Station 25, will be out Saturday December 16 at different locations throughout the day. They will also make a few stops Christmas morning. Check out the schedule to find out the closest stop to you.
  2. Koziar’s Christmas Village: This is a special tradition of lights that make the holiday season come alive. You can walk through Koziar’s Christmas Village every night from Thanksgiving to January 1st. The park opens at 6pm on weeknights and 5pm on weekends. There are indoor and outdoor displays, so make sure to dress for the weather. There are lighted and handicap accessible pathways between all of the sites. The tours are unguided so you can take as long or as short of a walk as you like. Tickets are available at the front gate, and there is always free parking!
  3. SteelStacks:  The Steel Stacks are your number one stop for Christmas shows. There are several events going on throughout the holiday season to get you and your family in a jolly spirit. There are special film showings, music concerts, and more.

        Music: A Very Merry Acoustic Christmas with The Sherwood Brothers

        Saturday, December 16 at 7pm: Grab your cowboy boots and meet us in the Fowler Blast Boiler Room for the 6-piece country band performing your favorite Christmas songs.

        Swingin’ the Holidays with The Rob Stoneback Big Band

        Friday, December 22 at 6pm: Rock into the holidays with this 17-piece big swing band that plays everything from the classics to the current holiday hits. This group travels all up and down the east coast from New York down to Wilmington. Find them in the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling.

  1. Christkindlmarkt: Visit the Christkindlmarkt for their 25th year in Bethlehem. There are tons of unique, handmade gifts from over 150 local artists, as well as beautiful ice sculptures and decorations galore. Find handmade ornaments and other collectables from Germany to deck your halls. You could even have breakfast with ol’ Saint Nicholas himself on December 16 at 9am.
